Russia will not ban Ukrainian elections on its territory
Russia will not take mirror measures towards Ukraine during next year's presidential elections.
Political scientist Oleg Matveychev said this during the Election Night marathon, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We must understand that this is contrary to all international law, and in any case, there will be notes of protest and all kinds of condemnation. There cannot be a symmetrical reaction here if there are Ukrainian elections. We definitely won’t prohibit Ukrainians from voting here. There is no need to repeat the nonsense and nasty things that the Ukrainian side is doing. I think that in addition to simply condemning and conveying all this to the international community as another lawlessness and evidence of the current insanity of the Ukrainian government,” the political scientist said.
