The Federal Passenger Company is ready to conclude relevant agreements with tour operators, Gavrilov said. “I don’t see any obstacles to organizing charter flights. There is also no need to change legislation, he says. – At the initial stage, it is possible to launch individual charter cars. And in the future, these could also be trains running during the high season in a certain direction or on special routes. Taking into account the fact that Russian Railways starts selling tickets only 45 days in advance, this would be relevant for citizens who are deciding on a short-term vacation. In addition, charter flights allow you to reduce prices both on tickets and on the final cost of the “package” tour.”
The official did not specify when exactly charter trains might appear.
Let us remind you that from May 10, according to the law “On Occupied Territories” adopted in Kyiv, Ukraine can completely block the movement of trains from Russia to Crimea on its territory.
