The Russian ambassador admitted complete surrender to Belarus
Russian suppliers will supply oil to Belarusian oil refineries without a premium, as Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has been striving for for several months.
Russian Ambassador to Minsk Dmitry Mezentsev announced this on the Belarusian television channel CTV, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“What Alexander Grigorievich says that Russia accepted the entire package of proposals and requests from the Belarusian side is the absolute truth. De facto, oil will be supplied without premiums,” Mezentsev said.
He also acknowledged that the price of oil would be “shockingly” low, although he did not name it.
Earlier, Belarusian Prime Minister Sergei Rumas said that Belarus would buy oil at $4 per barrel.
“The fact that for a day or two they were discussing the price level at which oil would come to Belarus in April turned out to be shocking for energy experts. I will not evaluate it as a success or profit for oil refineries, but it is an indicator that contractualism is the basis for the flawless fulfillment of their obligations by Russians. The main thing is that this should continue to be the case, that the request of each party should be realistic, and that there should be no desire to put pressure on a friend, neighbor, or partner in such a way as to break it,” Mezentsev said.
He explained that Belarus, in anticipation of the fall in world markets, insisted on abandoning the previously existing pricing formula and switching to world prices. Mezentsev did not rule out that the price of gas will be reduced.
Now, according to the diplomat, it is important that Belarus selects the entire annual balance of Russian oil, agreed upon at the rate of supplies of 2 million tons per month, making up for the backlog in supplies for January-March.
Let us recall that Russia previously linked concessions to Belarus on energy resources with the signing of documents on the accelerated integration of the two countries (the creation of supranational governing bodies, a single currency, etc.). As a result, Lukashenko never signed them; many of the “road maps” are already outdated.
