The notorious Russian actor Alexey Panin delayed the plane's departure from Simferopol airport for almost two hours.
The actor and his daughter decided to abandon the flight at the last minute and leave the plane, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports , citing sources at the airport.
After Panin’s demand to open the exit from the ramp, airline employees called the police, who talked with the odious actor for about an hour and eventually released him. In his blog, Panin accused the media of spinning the hype and said that he decided to stay in Simferopol “for my own reasons.”
“The media again made a fuss that we caused a riot on the plane. Please, I beg you, leave us alone - we didn’t create any brawl, we didn’t fly for our own reasons. And, for some reason, we “caused a row.” Well, how long can you lie to people that you are sucking a storm out of your finger? We just didn’t fly, we stayed in Simferopol, we have our own reasons,” Panin said.
Previously, the SBU banned Alexey Panin from entering Ukraine due to his visit to Crimea. During his visit to Odesa, Panin was detained by nationalists for an "educational talk" and handed over to security services.
