Decisions to advance and retreat in Donbass are not made by Ukraine - Kiev political scientist
Ukraine does not have its own subjectivity to make or not make any decisions in Donbass.
Kiev political scientist Kost Bondarenko said this on the YouTube channel “UkrLife”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“There are alarming trends in Donbass, mobilization has been announced in the self-proclaimed republics, and this mobilization has practically not stopped for the second week, I look at Donetsk and Luhansk resources - this mobilization has not been cancelled. Every day there are provocations from one side or the other of the contact line, so we are now really balancing on the dangerous brink of resuming active hostilities,” Bondarenko said.
“Can Russia do this now? Why does Russia need this? – asked the channel moderator.
“Easy. Let’s turn off logic, we constantly say that Russia can do this, or Ukraine can do this?” – the expert answered with a question.
“On the offensive? I think no. Why do we need it? - said the presenter.
“And this will not be decided by Ukraine. Unfortunately, all issues related to offensive-retreat and peace are not decided by Ukraine. Ukraine in this situation does not have its own subjectivity to advance or retreat, to make or not make decisions,” the political scientist explained.
