Today, during speeches in parliament, the “regionals” said that one of the reasons for the unrest in Crimea is the hasty repeal of the language law.
“The Crimeans have always respected the sovereignty of Ukraine... The Verkhovna Rada rudely, mercilessly, trampling on the interests of the Crimeans and not taking them into account, submits for consideration laws that blew up the peninsula. The law on the abolition of the Russian language, the law on re-elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Crimea,” said deputy Vitalina Dzoz.
