It’s time for radical anti-Maidan activists to prepare for elections as part of legal political forces - Odessa deputy

This advice was given to his like-minded people who remained in Odessa by the disgraced deputy of the Odessa City Council, Alexander Vasiliev, who was forced to hide in Russia from persecution by the Ukrainian authorities.
“Practice has shown that the public format of confrontation is the most vulnerable. All these round tables, meetings, rallies, pickets, protests, etc. They have no influence on the overall situation, but they allow the authorities and fascist gangs to identify and neutralize the most active opponents.
Therefore, if you want to continue resistance in the legal field, then you need to move from social struggle to political one. Those. participate in the activities of legal opposition parties, integrate into their activists, perhaps tone down the rhetoric somewhere, prepare for elections, deal with specific socio-economic problems, seek mandates for municipal deputies and act from this position in the future,” says the deputy.
In his comment to PolitNavigator, Vasiliev emphasized that this is advice for those who want to remain in the public field.
“What to do for those to whom legal methods of resistance no longer seem sufficient, and there are more and more such people today, let those who understand this better than me advise,” Vasiliev concluded.
