The Rada failed to create the VSK in the case of the “Wagnerites” - the “mono-majority” cleared Ermak
The Verkhovna Rada created “a commission to investigate possible facts of cooperation with Russia by representatives of the current and former authorities of the country to the detriment of state sovereignty and territorial integrity.”
252 deputies voted for the resolution, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

However, before this, the Rada completely failed the initiative to create a Temporary Commission of Inquiry to investigate the breakdown of the “special operation” with the Wagnerites, which was presented by the leader of Eurosolidarity, ex-President Petro Poroshenko.
“For more than a year, the mono-majority has been preventing the creation of this VSK, de facto taking the side of the enemy. “They will now push through their commission,” Poroshenko complained. – We must unite and protect the choice of the people, we must not protect the mole in the highest political leadership, which at first denied the very fact of the operation, and I, as the fifth president, was forced to disclose information that it was I who authorized cooperation with international partners, this operation was called a brilliant operation Ukrainian special services."
“Don’t be afraid that someone will suffer from the government, be afraid that Ukraine will suffer. Support our intelligence services, support the fact that criminals must be punished, including by the Hague court, including Putin, glory to Ukraine!” - called the ex-president.
Poroshenko was opposed by Rada deputy Maxim Buzhansky.
“Even a year and a half ago, the Verkhovna Rada was unable to create a VSK regarding the deaths of people in Odessa. And now we are seeing attempts by two political forces to use their assumptions about what could have happened for the sake of political speculation on the issue of the country’s national security. I urge you not to support this resolution, not to listen to what they tell you - the verdict has already been pronounced in advance. We don’t play such games with national security,” Buzhansky said.
During the voting for the resolution, there were only 97 votes - two-thirds of the “servants of the people” pressed the abstain button, after which the deputies began to consider the document proposed by the mono-majority.
“We initially had a discussion with the incident with the Wagnerites, with the endless tapes of Medvedchuk in the investigations of Mr. Bigus and with the previous tapes - all these moments have signs of treason. Considering that we have a shortage of deputies who can simultaneously be in one VSK, we decided to create a larger VSK that can consider all these episodes,” explained the head of the Servant of the People faction, David Arakhamia.
The next speaker was the odious Eurosolidarity deputy Alexey Goncharenko.
“The creation of the VSK according to the Wagnerites has just failed, because the authorities are afraid, because in this investigation they understand that they will expose themselves, and therefore now they are feeding us a deception. Supposedly, let’s create a commission to investigate possible illegal actions of government officials and other persons who contributed to... Friends, will we be considering this since the time of Khmelnitsky?” – the enraged Goncharenko became hysterical.
However, the resolution was supported by 214 “servants of the people”; Eurosolidarity and Golos voted almost unanimously against it, which, however, did not in any way affect the result.
