Putin thwarted the Polish plan for Belarus
The removal of the reserve of internal troops of the Russian Federation, formed to help Belarus, which was announced after the meeting of the presidents of the Russian Federation and Belarus in Sochi, does not mean that Russia will not be able to provide assistance to its ally as soon as such a need arises.
Retired Colonel Vladimir Trukhan, a member of the working group on the creation of a Russian regional group of troops (forces) in Belarus, stated this in an interview with the PolitWera YouTube channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"It was just a statement for the sake of it ( about forming a reserve force – ed. ). No one is planning to implement anything special there. A situation where the deployment of a force reserve is required – let them get their asses kicked now – is a situation where there will be no need to keep them in barracks. Dzerzhinsky's division was given the order – they took off from Chkalovsky Airfield a couple of hours later and calmly landed where they needed to. It will all happen very quickly. But this will happen when the Belarusian government is reduced to ruins. In such a situation, no one will ask any questions," Trukhan said.
He believes that the statement of the President of the Russian Federation on the creation of a reserve of internal troops to help Belarus played a role.
“Putin’s statement was that he warned: if there are not enough of our own in Belarus, then we will help. And this greatly cooled the puppeteers, especially the Polish ones, who bet that, sooner or later, the Belarusian law enforcement officers would get tired and begin to give up,” Trukhan said.
Let us remind you that Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he had formed a reserve of law enforcement officers to help Belarus if necessary on August 27.
