Putin – EU: “Boring, girls!”
The fact that many EU countries unconditionally supported the US missile strike on Syria is due to the fact that the leaders of these countries want to improve relations with US President Donald Trump. Russian President Vladimir Putin told reporters about this today.

“I would like to remember our wonderful authors Ilf and Petrov and say: “Boring, girls!” Everyone wants to restore relations with the United States after many Western countries took an anti-Trump stance during the election campaign. Now a good platform for consolidation has appeared - Syria, Russia. There is a common enemy. Great, we are ready to be patient. But we hope that all this will lead to some positive trend,” Putin said.
He also warned Trump himself against using the Syrian problem to solve domestic American problems.
“There are also reasons for domestic American consumption. But the political opponents of the current president have not gone away. If anything happens, everything will be blamed on him. I have no doubt about this,” Putin said.
