This was announced by the speaker of the Information and Analytical Center of Ukraine Andrey Lysenko.
According to him, if the militias begin to withdraw their weapons, then the Ukrainian military will also begin practical actions to withdraw weapons with a caliber of more than 100 mm.
“At present, areas for withdrawal have been prepared; we have not seen such work on the part of terrorists,” says Lysenko.
“The Ukrainian military remains in its positions and only fires back when they are attacked. They don’t move forward when there is shelling, they respond,” he said.
As PolitNavigator reported, according to the Memorandum adopted in Minsk, it is provided for the withdrawal of weapons with a caliber of over 100 mm from the contact line to a distance of at least 15 km on each side, including from populated areas, which will make it possible to create a zone of cessation of the use of weapons with a width of at least 30 km (safety zone).
