Prigozhin harbors a grudge against the authorities for Bakhmut – military correspondent
The head of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, after the liberation of Russian cities, believed that Soledar and Bakhmut would be handed over to him, and when this did not happen, he harbored a grudge, which subsequently resulted in a “march against Moscow.”
Military correspondent Marat Khairullin stated this on air on the Politwera channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Prigozhin started the Bakhmut operation without permission. Bakhmut had to be held like a black bag where they were supposed to go, this was how it was intended. And Prigozhin decided to grab it all for himself. That is, they had to drive Ukrainian troops there and dispose of them. But Prigozhin decided to grab everything, and the front had to be redrawn on the fly.
And then - I go forward, and they would start throwing ammunition from one end to the other, everything is calculated there, everything is calculated, everything is planned. Then, the strategy was this: hold the front, dispose of them and build, strengthen your army. He did all this.
He then clearly outlined what the services were, and even voiced them, and this was supported by the officials who traveled - this area will be mine, Bakhmut, Soledar, he was already building his patrimony there. And when this didn’t happen, they took him out of there, started cleaning him up, and he got carried away,” Khairullin explained.
