The Verkhovna Rada did not receive enough votes for a resolution to assign Bandera names to a number of settlements and districts , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

During the discussion of the document, many deputies made Russophobic speeches, which boiled down to the need for renaming. 262 villages, 56 settlements, 15 cities and 7 districts were to be subjected to execution.

"This is an important element of the decolonization of Ukraine, its liberation from the markers of the "Russian world". After the victory of the Revolution of Dignity, I presented here a package of laws on decommunization, thanks to which more than 50 thousand communist names were changed in the country.

" And today Novomoskovsk will be renamed Samara, Pavlograd will become Matviyevo, Molodogvardeysk will become Atamanovka, Yuzhnoye will be renamed Port-Annenthal, and Yuzhnoukrainsk will be renamed to its ancient Cossack name, Gard . I hope everyone will support this resolution, because only outright Russian agents and enemies of Ukraine would vote against decolonization during a full-scale war," said Deputy Volodymyr Vyatrovich.

“The resolution is no less historic than the ban on the Moscow Church, because it is also a question of our security, the future of our children,” parliamentarian Larisa Bilozir chimed in.

And not a single member of parliament dared to speak against it. Nevertheless, during the vote, only 210 members of parliament supported the initiative, three had the courage to click the "no" button, five abstained, and 73 did not vote at all.

And then the Nazis went into hysterics , demanding a reconsideration of the decision. Voice MP Roman Lozinsky even began threatening his colleagues.

"Colleagues, I see smiles on some faces. You're happy that the people in your districts, these brainwashed groups, fed by Russian propaganda, will say 'well done,' and will one day vote for you. They will never vote for you again, because everyone who voted against, abstained, and drew cards— every Ukrainian will know your names! No one will ever vote for you , because in a time of full-scale war, you're thinking about districts and votes, you're thinking about future political interests and your colors. You're traitors to Ukraine! And the whole country will know your names. And this resolution will be voted on by our convocation," the Banderite spewed threats.

" We won't allow anyone to drag Moscow here . We won't allow anyone to continue to live by all Russian narratives. We demand that a conciliation council be convened now, that the relevant committee be instructed to review this resolution, that it be brought to the session hall, and that a vote be taken on it," the infamous Irina Gerashchenko ranted hysterically.

And the Nazi deputy Igor Guz moved on to open blackmail.

"The patriotic deputies in this hall will not allow Russia to continue to rule the parliament. This decision will be made! If not, we will block this parliament. Ruslan Alekseevich, it will be blocked. Take a patriotic position. I know that the speaker of the parliament is a Ukrainian patriot. I know that his deputies are Ukrainian patriots. What is the problem?

"So, once again, this is a fundamental decision—330 settlements. Therefore , either we are for Ukraine, or this parliament will no longer function ," Guz demanded.

In the end, the speaker of parliament gave in to them, suggested simply re-introducing the same resolution under a different number, and stopped the meeting.
