Human rights activist: Muravitsky should be released after Vasilets and Timonin
Zhytomyr journalist Vasily Muravitsky, who is in prison on charges of working for Russian media, should be released following the example of his colleagues Dmitry Vasilets and Evgeniy Timonin, who were released today under house arrest.

According to her, Vasilets and Timonin, whom Ukraine accused of “aiding terrorists” after working in the Donbass, had every chance of being fully acquitted today.

“Today, the panel of judges of the Court of Appeal of the city of Kiev, having familiarized itself with all the conclusions of human rights organizations, including the Irina Berezhnaya Institute of Legal Policy and Social Protection, changed the measure of restraint for Vasilets and Timonin from detention to house arrest!
It's a shame that the new lawyers and guys did not support Novitskaya's lawyer's appeal and did not demand an acquittal! Today they would be completely rehabilitated and free!
However, the appellate court overturned the verdict and sent the criminal case for a new two-year trial! You will have to go through another test and review of the case, starting all over again! But, in any case, this is the first Victory!
