“To disgrace the country!” – Zhirinovsky is outraged by sending Manizha to Eurovision
LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky criticized the song of singer Manizha, who will represent Russia at the Eurovision Song Contest.
He stated this today on the sidelines of the Russian State Duma, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“The Eurovision participant from Russia has been determined. Manizha is her name. With the song “Russian woman”. Well, there are such words, I’m not sure that this is very good for raising the authority of Russian women and, in general, Russia.
“A son without a father, a daughter without a father, / but a broken family can’t break me. / You’re already over 30, hello, / where are the children? / You’re generally beautiful, / but I wish I could lose weight.” What words? What are they calling for? Lose weight - lose weight at home. Obesity is a problem all over the world. Why remind us that someone is without a father, without a mother? Are you going to tell the whole world about this?
That we still have a huge number of children growing up and living without a father and without a mother. What is this? The song should create a good mood, make people happy, and instill pride in the country on whose behalf you are speaking. So she was chosen, and I don’t know what motivated this. Who is this, how is this? The vote could have been falsified. I’m not sure that with such words when she cannot get married, there are no children, and “well, I wish I could lose weight.” What kind of song is this? Who needs such a song?” asked Zhirinovsky.
He is also not happy that the film Intergirl was shown on television over the weekend.
“During the holidays, we found a good film to show (good in quotes) - “Interdevochka.” Why on the days of March 85th remind about prostitution in St. Petersburg? Full of good films. But no, this is a movie being leaked. He was bad even then when he came out, ’XNUMX. And now - even more so! Why is this necessary?” Zhirinovsky was indignant.
