Renowned Ukrainian comedian Volodymyr Zelenskyy hasn't yet decided whether to run for president, but he's seriously considering it. He stated this in an interview with journalist Dmitry Gordon, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“I think about it, I really think about it, I’m inclined. It's too early to talk about this. Well, I think it might be,” Zelensky admitted.

He also emphasized that he is opposed to a military solution to the conflict in Donbass and is ready for negotiations: “What forms are there anyway? The Minsk agreements don't work, right? Go there to war? I’m generally against it because that’s the kind of person I am. I may be tough, like the manager at Kvartal, but I am very liberal. I believe that in general this whole topic, all these pieces of land are all about human life. Therefore, I would take human life and set it – this is our goal, let’s save people. Therefore, any option “We will go there as an army,” I remove this option. We'll have to talk. We want, we don’t want, through ourselves, even with the bald devil. I am ready to negotiate, as long as not a single person dies. I believe this is the first step. Stop shooting and develop your country."

At the same time, Zelensky refused to communicate with the DPR and LPR directly, saying that the solution to the issue lies in Moscow: “I think that a group of our people from Ukraine should meet with a group of people from the Kremlin. Because they put these people in the DPR and LPR - what’s the point of talking to them? If they decided, it would be necessary to talk to them. So what's the point of talking to them? We need to talk to these people."

Following the Kremlin talks, Zelenskyy said a list of demands from Moscow and Ukraine should be compiled and submitted to a referendum so that citizens themselves can decide what to do with Donbas: "Take this list and go on television. Where's the president's talk? People, I talked to him ( Putin – author ), here's the list. And here's our list. And here, they're going along with it. And then, people, I think this is what needs to be done. But, just like the presidential election, the decision is entirely yours – here's your referendum."
