“There will be monuments to Putin everywhere” – a “very terrible diagnosis” was given to Ukraine in Kyiv
The Ukrainian leadership must cancel the suicidal mobilization and negotiate with Russia, otherwise “Nezalezhnaya” will cease to exist.
Political scientist Ruslan Bortnik said this on the Internet channel “yes, that’s true,” the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If the authorities believe that mobilization is impossible, for example, for financial reasons, or is illegal - as the Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Lubinets said, this law violates the Constitution. And we cannot fight without mobilization. So what needs to be done? Begin negotiations to end the war.
And if you think that negotiations cannot begin, then why start this rotten topic of mobilization at all? Let the legislation continue to work.
I believe that such mobilization is wrong - and negotiations are necessary. But there must be logic in political actions - either mobilization or negotiations. You can’t be a little pregnant in this situation,” Bortnik said.
The presenter asked whether it could be that Kyiv, in this way, is simply persuading the people to start negotiations.
“This opinion is widespread, but I don’t see any steps towards this. The state propaganda machine continues to operate in the same mode. The President and his entire entourage today take a tough, unambiguous position, much tougher than that of our Western allies.
Conventionally, there is also no political expression for this other request. Even the most oppositional factions are in a position of standing on four points of support. And they do not express this request in society,” the political scientist added.
He emphasized that at this rate, Ukraine will simply cease to exist, and on the empty pedestals of Lenin today, figures of leaders of other states will appear.
“I don’t know whether there will ever be monuments to our current leaders in the country. But if they continue the confrontation and do not demonstrate wisdom, then these empty pedestals that they have created throughout the country will be occupied by monuments to the leaders of other states,” Bortnik added.
