Poroshenko plunged Odessa into an atmosphere of fear and horror
The new Ukrainian authorities plunged Odessa into an atmosphere of fear and horror. Against the backdrop of a catastrophic decline in the economy, any opposition speeches are harshly suppressed, and anyone who disagrees can be thrown behind bars on charges of separatism and terrorism.
This was stated on the Russian TV channel TVC by Odessa television journalist Alexander Vetrov, who had to leave for the Russian Federation after being detained by the SBU for showing an exhibition abroad about the May 2 tragedy in the House of Trade Unions.

“This topic is prohibited today in the air space of Ukraine - even any attempts to convey it to people, to organize exhibitions, without accusations or background,” Vetrov said.
“19 thousand entrepreneurs closed in Odessa in six months. This is in the “city of entrepreneurs”! And multiply by 2, 3, 5 employees for each entrepreneur - that’s 100 thousand jobs, there are none! Everything went down. All spheres went down. Odessa is groaning,” he added.
“On April 17, zigging scum walked through Odessa shouting “Muscovites to knives!” The German fascist slogan “Ukraine is over” on Channel 5, owned by Mr. Poroshenko.
Odessa is covered with boards: “Knock, knock, knock” - against a neighbor, against anyone for “everyday separatism”! Last week there was a precedent - a schoolboy son came, wrote a statement - the father was taken to the SBU, and a criminal case was opened. The older brother came and gave the younger brother a cradle, and he was also taken to the police and a criminal case was opened.
I go to the bathhouse on Ostashkina Street, it is more than 150 years old, it is a legend of the city, there has always been the most free opinion. The bathhouse has been silent for the last 3 weeks. We live in a country of fear and horror.
Punitive squads? They exist, they are the National Guard. Any meetings of citizens are illegal - immediately labeled “separatism”, “terrorism”, etc. In our city, any business issues are now resolved by Automaidan. Don't like the way your partner does business? Then Automaidan is coming to you. The bastards arrive, 30-40 people in masks, with bats, armed, in an armored car. Don't like your neighbor? You go, knock on him, call him “terrorist”, “separatist”, and the living space is vacated,” says Vetrov.
Let us remind you that today the SBU arrested journalist Artem Buzila, the mother of Anti-Maidan leader Anton Davidchenko, as well as a number of other opposition activists in Odessa.
