Kyiv, February 06 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) - Ukraine blocked the passenger railway connection with Crimea so that Ukrainian citizens could not get there and see with their own eyes life on the peninsula, which is strikingly different from what is shown on Ukrainian TV channels.

Political scientist Sergei Mikheev stated this on the “Right to Voice” talk show.

According to him, at the same time, the Ukrainian media, at the instigation of the authorities, are cultivating lies about Russian realities in Crimea for their citizens.

“Ukraine says that there is nothing to eat in Crimea. On the contrary, after the blockade, more products from local producers appeared there. Ukraine blocked the border there so that its citizens would not go there and see that Ukraine was lying,” said Mikheev.
