Poroshenko hid in the office of the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada during the grenade explosion
During a protest near the Verkhovna Rada, when explosive packages and grenades began to explode in the courtyard, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko was hiding in the parliament building, in the office of Rada Speaker Volodymyr Groysman. People's Deputy from the "Radical Party" Yuri Chizhmar stated this on Channel 5.

According to him, the explosions were a planned action to divert attention from the collapse of the coalition and the “surrender of national interests.”
“We have an online president. Today he was in parliament, but did not want to come into the hall and explain his position. He sat hidden in Groysman’s office. It's humiliating. But today no one is saying that someone violated the regulations and the coalition agreement, that someone betrayed the Ukrainian people, that the coalition collapsed, but everyone is talking about an explosion. They did a good job of diverting attention from the problem,” said Chizhmar.
