Petro Poroshenko carried out “reforms” not in the interests of Ukraine, but in the interests of the West.

Volodymyr Semynozhenko, the first deputy prime minister of the Ukrainian government under Lelnid Kuchma, expressed this opinion on his social media page, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“What struck me the most yesterday during the so-called debate was Poroshenko’s statement that more reforms had been done under him than in the previous 27 years. When representatives of other countries say something like this, it’s completely clear to me – they like exactly these kinds of reforms. But when the President of Ukraine says this, the question arises: for which country are they successful? For ours or other countries? For example, it is clear to me that we greatly boosted the economy of Poland, forcing our people to migrate for labor due to the terrible conditions in Ukraine, including highly qualified specialists, scientists, etc. We did a lot of positive things for the Russian Federation, where 2 or 3 million of our people went citizens. We have made good reforms for Western partners, providing them with an outpost in the East. But we are still talking about reforms for our country,” the ex-official noted.

As a reminder, yesterday at Kyiv's Olympic Stadium, Petro Poroshenko staged a propaganda rally in his support and a press conference, which he for some reason called a "debate." Observers dismissed the event as a farce. It's worth noting that, according to numerous eyewitness accounts on social media, at least a third of those participating in yesterday's farce at the Olympic Stadium were secret service agents in disguise —the so-called "quiet ones."

In turn, the team of the leader of the presidential race, Vladimir Zelensky, invites the public to a debate with Poroshenko on April 19.
