In Chongar, Kherson region, a base of Mezhdlisov militants was captured, where the so-called battalion named after Noman Celebidzhikhan, and also the office of the ATR TV channel is located.

“With the help of an armored personnel carrier, the fence of the battalion’s location and the tent in which there were people were rammed. Armed people took over the location; all personnel and those who were on the territory at that time were forced to the floor.
According to information from the scene, armed people at the battalion's location used firearms, firing warning shots in the air and at the legs. The editors have no reports of casualties...
Journalists of the ATR channel who are at the scene of events do not have access to video equipment due to the fact that it is blocked by armed people,” the message says.
It should be noted that the information about the seizure of the Mejlis battalion's location was preceded by a report from former Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleksiy Zhuravko, according to which the day before, militants had engaged in a shootout and clashed with national police in Henichesk.
According to social activist Gennady Sivak, the head of the Mejlis banned in the Russian Federation, Verkhovna Rada deputy Refat Chubarov has now joined in resolving the conflict - he is now meeting with the head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak. The militants demand the base be vacated, otherwise they threaten to block highways.
Sivak did not rule out that the conflict is a continuation of the process of “draining” the Mejlis by official Kyiv. As you know, the Ministry of Defense previously refused to legalize Celebidzhikhan’s battalion - in fact, now armed militants are operating outside the law.
