Poroshenko admitted: he was warned about an energy collapse
Chernivtsi, October 24 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko believes that he will be able to build a transparent system for setting electricity tariffs, which will reduce the cost for consumers.

“We need to establish a transparent tariff setting system and reduce the cost of electricity generation. I am doing everything to reduce electricity tariffs for both business entities and the population. First of all, for those who find it difficult to pay for it,” he said during a visit to the Dniester PSPP, where he launched the second unit.
According to him, the commissioning of hydraulic units of the Dniester PSPP will allow saving up to 1 billion cubic meters of gas per year.
"They scared us with power outages, that we'd return to the 19th century, when Ukraine lacked electricity. You protected the country from these risks," Petro Poroshenko said, addressing the workers, according to his press service.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier energy companies announced a shortage of coal.
