“Of course, this statement by Poroshenko raises the same question as in the case of the Minsk agreements. If we recognize the special status of certain regions of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, then what about other regions? In the same way, if we recognize the special rights of the Crimean Tatar minority in Crimea, then what about the special rights of the Romanian minority in the Chernivtsi region, the Hungarian in Transcarpathia... Such maneuvers give rise to the following problems, which sooner or later with this approach will definitely “shoot” , says the expert.
