Kyiv, November 08 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Petro Poroshenko owes his current rise to ex-Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.

This opinion was published on the pages of the Kyiv weekly Focus, recalling that at one time it was Tymoshenko who cut short the political career of the current president.
“However, Petro Poroshenko should be grateful to Yulia Tymoshenko,” the publication believes. “She actually saved him for the current stormy rush to power.” If he had entered significant positions ahead of time, he would have fallen to the sidelines along with one of the unloved presidents - Yushchenko or Yanukovych. And so we managed not to get too dirty about them and at the right moment people liked them.”
Let us recall that after the first Maidan, Viktor Yushchenko, who became president, appointed Petro Poroshenko to the post of Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, who had to resign after he was accused of corruption in the team of then Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
