Poroshenko announced victory over “Russian agents”

Ukraine will become a member of the European Union and a member of NATO, despite the machinations of “Russian agents.” President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko stated this today during the ceremony of ceremonial raising of the Ukrainian flag on Sophia Square in Kyiv.

“Our diplomats won a difficult fight against Russian agents who tried to disrupt the ratification of the association agreement with the European Union. And on September 1, the agreement comes into force in full. By working hard, we will bring closer the days when in the future Ukraine will become both a member of the European Union and a member of NATO,” Poroshenko said.

The President of Ukraine believes that the Ukrainian flag goes well with the flag of the European Union.

“Notice how our flag fits next to the flag of the European Union. Two and a half months ago, we won the opportunity to travel freely to Europe, having implemented all the reforms necessary for this,” Poroshenko said.
