Poroshenko on negotiations: no autonomy for Donbass, control over the border with Russia and withdrawal of foreign troops
Minsk - Kyiv, February 12 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) - In Minsk, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko confirmed the words of Vladimir Putin about reaching agreements on a ceasefire in the Donbass.

According to him, at the negotiations in Minsk agreements were reached on the withdrawal of all foreign troops from Ukraine. In addition, it is planned that Ukrainian border guards should completely restore control over the border with Russia by the end of 2015.
Poroshenko noted that no decisions were made about any autonomy in eastern Ukraine or federalization. He also confirmed that Ukraine was put forward unacceptable conditions and ultimatums during the negotiations, but it did not succumb to them.
“Starting February 15, there must be a ceasefire, and within 19 days all hostages must be released,” said the Ukrainian president. At the same time, agreements were reached with Vladimir Putin on the release of Nadezhda Savchenko.
