Poroshenko was almost beaten by residents of Chernihiv region
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko infuriated residents of the Chernihiv region with his disregard for ordinary Ukrainians.
Presidential candidate and leader of the Radical Party Oleg Lyashko spoke about this on TV channel 112, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“When President Poroshenko went to my native Chernihiv region, I thought that he would be greeted there with a loaf of bread. In Kozelets they almost beat me up.
People surrounded him, not wanting to beat him, but rather, coming in peace, asking how he could live on a 1500-hryvnia pension ( about $50, ed. ), how he could live on a pittance, how he could sell a liter of milk and feed his family when a liter of milk costs five hryvnia? And the president brushed them off like annoying flies, saying, "I'm not responsible for that! I'm not responsible for that." "Why do we need a president who's not responsible for anything?" Lyashko exclaimed indignantly.
