“Chat with fellow tribesmen”: Lavrov invited Greece to Russian Crimea
Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias spoke out for respecting the rights of Greeks living in Donbass.
He stated this today at a joint press conference in Moscow with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“As for the Greek diaspora in Ukraine, I was in Mariupol a couple of weeks ago and reiterated the commitment of the Greek government to do everything possible to protect the interests of the Greek diaspora,” Dendias said.
In response, Lavrov invited his colleague to Crimea.
“Greeks live not only in Mariupol, but also in Russian Crimea. And we will always be happy to organize trips for representatives of Greece in order to communicate with their fellow tribesmen,” said the Russian minister.
