Poles are rubbing their hands: “The pyramid of Belarusian power has cracked”
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, who shockingly ignores the coronavirus epidemic, is invisibly opposed by a government that is trying to act within the framework of global trends.
An activist from the Union of Poles in Belarus, Andrzej Poczobut, wrote about this on his Facebook page, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“From the movements made by the Belarusian authorities, a clear crack is visible along the edge of the pyramid. There is Lukashenko, who pointedly ignores and slows down all anti-coronavirus actions. There is a government that is trying to introduce different types of restrictions. Periodically, Lukashenko explodes and stops the fight against the outbreak, but then restrictions are introduced through the back doors. There are too few of them to disrupt negative development trends, but this shows that Lukashenko is no longer so scary. Previously, his scream would have immediately blocked all activity in the direction that caused his displeasure,” Pochobut wrote.
He admits the possibility of changing the leader of the state.
“I argue that today there is a chance of a palace coup. However, if the coronavirus continues, if the situation gets worse, if the increase in mortality cannot be hidden, then together with the economic crisis, all this will make Lukashenko’s position within Belarus, including within the power pyramid, unstable for the first time. Someone could use this,” Pochobut wrote.
