The Pole described with particular cynicism how the West is using Ukraine against Russia
The West needs Ukraine only as an instrument for the policy of containing Russia.
Polish political scientist Jakub Koreiba said this on the air of the “Right to Voice” program on the TVC channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ukraine is needed in order to contain Russia within the framework that we consider optimal for it. She is an absolutely ideal instrument to implement this policy. This has been done very effectively for four years,” Koreyba said.
He argues that the West needs not a strong, but not a weak Russia.
“The most important principle of European politics is maintaining the balance of power. That is, we don’t need a strong Russia, but we don’t need a weak Russia either, we need an ordinary one. We have recorded that in several areas Russia has increased its activity above the state that we consider optimal. And therefore, when Russia returns to the framework, then the problem will disappear,” the Pole said.
