Poland is afraid that its fans will travel to Russian Crimea

The Polish Foreign Ministry calls on citizens of this country planning to visit Russia during the European Football Championship matches not to visit Crimea.
This, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent , is stated in the corresponding guide prepared by the Polish Foreign Ministry.
“Remember that Poland has not recognized Russia’s annexation of the Crimean Peninsula and is not able to provide consular assistance to Polish citizens. In this regard, we categorically do not recommend traveling to Crimea,” says the guidebook, which is quoted by the Kiev online publication “Mirror of the Week.”
In addition, it is argued that in Russia there is a threat of terrorist attacks, which is intensifying in the context of the football championship. Therefore, it is suggested to be especially careful at stadiums, fan zones, and on public transport. The Polish Foreign Ministry also warns its citizens against traveling to the North Caucasus.
