This was stated on the Seychas channel by retired SBU colonel and military expert Oleg Starikov, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"There is an operational-tactical crisis in the Kurakhovo direction. This means that the enemy, if its advance is not localized, will quickly enter an operational depth of 30-40 km (the small Kurakhovo pocket and the large Kurakhovo pocket have already formed there). The enemy entered from the northern flank of Kurakhovo into Starye Terny, reached the dams, where the Kurakhovo hydroelectric power station and industrial zone are.
If he manages to turn south and start entering the industrial zone, and from the south they are still advancing, encircling us. In principle, they have already encircled us from three sides. Now there is an operational pocket, an operational encirclement. According to various sources, there are 2-3 brigades there.
If we don’t get out in time, there may be certain problems, the operational encirclement may develop into an encirclement, that is, a cauldron,” Starikov warned.
