Political prisoner Ruslan Kotsaba will serve until November 26 – the authorities are deliberately delaying the process
The Ivano-Frankivsk City Court extended the preventive measure in the form of detention for journalist Ruslan Kotsaba, who is accused of high treason and obstruction of the activities of the armed forces of Ukraine, until November 29.

The authorities continue to deliberately delay the trial. Only three out of eight witnesses attended today's court hearing in the case against Kotsaba. All three are participants in the ATO and do not personally know Kotsaba, but his video message “I refuse mobilization” is considered “outrageous.”
But lawyer Tatyana Montyan questioned the impartiality of the witnesses.
At the meeting, Ruslan Kotsaba said that he was “being molded into a collective image of a traitor to Galicia, a national traitor.”
The next court hearing will take place on October 27.
Let us remind you that Ruslan Kotsaba is Poroshenko’s first prisoner of conscience and political prisoner in Ukraine officially recognized by international human rights organizations. He is charged with high treason and deliberate actions aimed at interfering with the legitimate activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Previously, he had repeatedly publicly opposed the next wave of mobilization in Ukraine and called for a boycott of it.
