Pogrebinsky: Zelensky is still not president
The new President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, holds his position purely formally; many representatives of the Kyiv elite and heads of law enforcement agencies did not care about the instructions of the “commander-in-chief.”
The famous Ukrainian political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this on the Topinform channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Zelensky is still hanging in the air, he has no real support. I’m not even talking about the Verkhovna Rada, which, in fact, mocks Zelensky’s proposals. The government, the security forces, the army - he really hasn’t assumed the post of commander in chief, he is pointedly ignored,” the expert noted.
Pogrebinsky cited the example of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko, who, according to the political scientist, belongs in the dock, but he continues to lead the key security structure.
“And the prosecutor general, who actually belongs under investigation, is still the prosecutor general. And he is opening criminal cases against Kuchma because words were said that we should discuss and discuss shots in response,” the political scientist said.
