Pogrebinsky: Strike with “Caliber” – and there will be no one to resist in Ukraine
In order to inflict a crushing defeat on Ukraine, Russia does not need to send its troops to its territory - it will be enough to launch several targeted missile strikes on the most important targets. In addition, its government is successfully destroying Ukraine; Russia can only wait to share with the West the desert that will remain in Ukraine’s place.
Political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this on the air of the First Cossack TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“In order to force peace, and there is such talk, the Ukrainian leadership obviously has concerns, there is no need for Russian troops to cross the border at all. There are all sorts of “Calibers” and others, which carried out targeted precision strikes thousands of kilometers away from the territory and waters of the Caspian Sea. No threats of “thousands of victims”, “Russians will wash themselves in blood” - in general, the Russians can, without crossing the border, deal a crushing blow to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, after which there will be nothing to resist.
As they say, you can take it with your bare hands, but they won’t take it, because who needs it, our country is poor, except ourselves. Why take on this burden - a falling economy, the absence of a sane elite that can take over leadership, there is none of this.
I consider it almost impossible to attack the territory of Ukraine with any goals, control, change of power, and so on. The government itself is doing everything to ruin our country and population.
Therefore, the most natural option for Russia is to simply wait until they, our leaders, kill us all. And then we can simply decide together with the United States and Europe what to do with this desert. All this talk about how they are about to occupy is, in my opinion, pure nonsense,” Pogrebinsky said.
