Pogrebinsky told what Zelensky can do
The newly elected President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky can end the war in Donbass within a few days.
Ukrainian political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky spoke about this on TV Center, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The murders in Donbass can be stopped within a few days. To do this, you don’t even need to meet with Vladimir Vladimirovich. I think it’s enough just to call Vladimir Vladimirovich without intermediaries, to say about your readiness to look for a compromise solution - let’s start by giving the command to your friends in Donbass, and I to my friends about a ceasefire from Monday. I think that this would be a sufficient reason to stop shooting,” the political scientist said.
However, Mikhail Pogrebinsky emphasized that a ceasefire is not beneficial to the Ukrainian side, because then it will not be possible to blame Russia for everything.
“The whole logic until today was that it was beneficial for the Ukrainian side to shoot. There was simply an interest in shooting periodically, because they receive a response, the accusations fall directly on the Russian Federation, Putin, and so on,” the expert added.
