According to him, the UVO will engage in pre-war training of young people and “instill in them the spirit of patriotism.”
“This is, first of all, military-patriotic education. There are operating systems in different regions that have shown themselves to perform very well locally. For example, the same “Plast”, but this still remains the lot of enthusiasts. If we want to create a strong patriotic army, then we must start today. In 10 years, those boys who today will be listeners of our tradition and history, they will stop any enemy,” Semenchenko said.
Let us recall that the UVO is an illegal nationalist organization that operated in the Ukrainian lands that were part of Czechoslovakia, Poland and Austria in 1920-30. Its main focus was sabotage work: arson, explosions, political assassinations. From the mid-1920s she collaborated with German intelligence. Later, the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN) was created on the basis of the UVO.
