Podolyak: No peace. Only defeat for Russia

Ukraine will not be satisfied with any result of negotiations with Russia unless Moscow’s defeat is recorded.

This was stated on the air of the Dom TV channel by the adviser to the head of the Ukrainian President's office, Mykhailo Podolyak, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Podolyak, any other option would mean a postponed war.

“No one will make the same mistake today that they made in ’14. That’s when they didn’t finish the story called the marauding seizure of part of the territory of Ukraine correctly, and as a result, today we have a large-scale war,” the official said.

“Accordingly, in order to record the fact of mass war crimes by the Russian Federation, the war must end in a loss for Russia, a loss, absolutely. After this, the procedure for Russia's legal liability will only be launched.

Any other option, other than Russia’s loss, will lead to stagnation of the current situation and the deployment of the next stage of the war. This is unconditional and obvious,” Podolyak said.
