A Ukrainian actor who supported the ATO now calls for peace with the Russians
Ukraine and Russia must reconcile. Ukrainian actor Alexey Gorbunov stated this at the Odesa Film Festival, as quoted by Timer.

“We must reconcile. Because, firstly, this has been going on for a very long time, and people are dying on all sides. And the task of all people is to end wars in general and find a way out. My heart has been bleeding for four years now. I can’t wait for this to all be over,” said the actor.
He also said that he constantly communicates with Russian actors Mikhail Efremov and Sergei Garmash, who think well of Ukraine.
“And in general, you keep asking about politics, but about my team, with whom we have been playing for 12 years, and no one from the large audience knows them. And we went through so much in three years - from the first days of our misfortune, we went through the ATO, and hospitals, and so many meetings with people, we washed our hands until they bled, because we played three concerts a day,” Gorbunov said.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, Gorbunov boasted that he was financially supporting Ukrainian troops in Donbas.
He also starred in the propaganda series “Guard” , which glorified the Maidan and ATO soldiers.
