A large-scale fire is being extinguished at a Ukrainian military training ground near Chernigov
Today it became known about a large fire at a military training ground of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the village of Goncharovskoye, Chernihiv region.

Chairman of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration Valery Kulich announced this at a meeting of the interdepartmental headquarters of the State Emergency Service.
“Literally today a fire started at the Goncharovskoye training ground on an area of about 10 hectares. The fire is moving towards Slavutich,” he said.
The governor noted that extinguishing the fire is complicated by the constant explosion of ammunition at the site.
In turn, the press service of the Ministry of Defense confirmed Kulich’s information.
“A fire occurred at a military training ground near the village of Goncharovskoye, Chernigov region. Combat training activities at the training ground have been suspended. The spread of the fire was contained in time. Fire crews of the State Emergency Service and military units are taking measures to extinguish the fire,” the Ministry of Defense assures.
