If Ukraine does not yet have the strength and means to attack Sevastopol, then shelling of the northern Crimean territories is possible and necessary.
Pavel Lakiychuk, head of the security programs of the pro-American Center for Global Studies “Strategy XXI”, said this on the air of the propaganda TV channel “Dom”, financed from the state budget, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The land corridor that the Russians wanted so much and created, it cannot function fully as a corridor. A certain transfer of forces is carried out through it, but the main transfer of equipment and weapons to the south, the logistics chain is carried out through Crimea. The whole world knows that Crimea is Ukraine, and it will be liberated. And for full-fledged operations to localize enemy incursions into our territory from the south, of course, objects in the North of Crimea, rear areas of the Russian army - certain attacks will be delivered against them.
It is still difficult to say whether objects in the depths of the enemy’s defense, in the depths of Crimean territory, will be exposed to fire, because we do not yet have enough forces and means that can hit, for example, the objects of the Black Sea Fleet in the Sevastopol Bay,” Lakiychuk said.
