Ukrainian political expert Konstantin Bondarenko became interested in how the authorities would explain to the population of the country the inevitable increase in tariffs as a consequence of the agreement signed with the United States on the supply of coal to Ukraine from Pennsylvania.

Bondarenko wrote about this on his page on the social network, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“In February, experts from the energy industry shouted that the “Rotterdam +” formula (the scheme in force before the blockade of Donbass to legalize coal on the Ukrainian market from the mines of Rinat Akhmetov, located in the territory of Donbass not controlled by Kiev) would lead to an increase in the price of coal to 1800 hryvnia per ton. Russia was selling anthracite for $60 - an extortionate price, experts said. Today we concluded an agreement with the United States - our partners will sell us coal at $113 per ton, and on this occasion they again solemnly announced to us the upcoming increase in tariffs. I’m waiting to see how supporters of the regime will explain the logic and expediency of such a step. Just interesting,” Bondarenko wrote.
However, LOMs (public opinion leaders – Ed) close to Porrshenko’s administration have already answered Konstantin Bondarenko’s question in the comments to his own post on the social network. The latest “temnik” looks like this:
