A Russophobic writer became hysterical when asked about Russian-language cartoons
“Conscious” Ukrainians should sue residents of the country who speak Russian in public places.
Ukrainian nationalist writer Larisa Nitsoi stated this on TV 7+, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The children's writer was driven to hysterics by the presenter's question about what to do for parents of children who do not want to watch Russian-language cartoons on the Internet.
“We have been saying for a long time that there is a decision of the Constitutional Court. I don’t know how to reach the heads of Ukrainians. There is a decision of the Constitutional Court, which says that the Ukrainian language is mandatory in all spheres of public life. The Internet is a public sphere, and therefore we have the right to sue someone who makes a Russian cartoon, a Russian-language website, or someone who speaks Russian at school or in a store. Anywhere, in all public space, there must be a Ukrainian language, and the Constitutional Court says that this is not optional, but mandatory,” she said, banging her fist on the table.
