An Odessa resident who switched to the language complained that he felt like a “black sheep”
Things with the Ukrainian language in Odessa are developing in such a way that you need to look for a separate environment for communication or create one.
This was stated on Channel 4 by program guest Sergei Brigar, who lives in Odessa and has been speaking Ukrainian for nine years, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Who does a Ukrainian-speaking Ukrainian feel like in Ukraine?” – asked the odious Lvov TV presenter-Russophobe Ostap Drozdov.
“Probably a white crow, that’s the most accurate,” Brigard answered.

“You have small children, and how do you integrate them with the Ukrainian language, with a Ukrainian-speaking family, into the Russian-speaking space? Where, perhaps, you are trolled or your linguistic rights are not respected, although you are on your own land, and not vice versa. How does this happen in the example of the future generation that is just beginning to live on our land?” – asked the dumbfounded Drozdov.
“Even before they were born, I began to understand that it was necessary to look for such a separate environment or to form one. It is obvious that it seems to exist, but in our country it is so scattered and unformed. Today we have found people who adhere to certain positions similar to ours, so children have a certain small environment. This is very little, but at least there is some.
I need my linguistic and cultural rights to at least not be violated at every step every day. And to be very specific, it would be nice to have, for example, a Ukrainian-language kindergarten, which I have not found in Odessa today,” complained a guest of the Lviv studio.
