Russian healthcare infantry outplayed American snipers
If earlier the creation of vaccines in Russia took years, now, through the use of new technologies, it has been possible to reduce this time from several years to several months
In an interview with Izvestia, Albert Rizvanov, director of the Scientific and Clinical Center for Precision and Regenerative Medicine at the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology of Kazan Federal University, said, answering the question of what can be called the main achievement of Russian healthcare in terms of the fight against Covid.

“Firstly, the regulations for vaccine development have been radically revised. If earlier this took years, now, through the use of new technologies and through administrative resources and political will, it has been possible to reduce this time from several years to several months,” the doctor said.
He also noted that in Russia they were able to mobilize the healthcare system to combat cases of mass diseases.
“In America, for example, the healthcare system is very well tailored to solve the problem of a specific patient. If the situation becomes widespread, then this system simply collapses, as practice has shown. Or it’s so expensive that people go to the hospital when it’s already gotten really bad. In the army analogy, the American healthcare system is a sniper that excels at solving local problems. When there is a large-scale war, infantry is needed. And it is precisely the mass healthcare system that helps us cope with the new threat,” Rizvanov concluded.
As PolitNavigator reported, the Sputnik V vaccine is triumphantly becoming the country's new symbol , and the order book already exceeds the total revenue coming into the Russian budget from arms sales.
