Parubiy and Turchinov got the wrong people: 51% of Ukrainians are against visas with Russia
More than half of Ukrainian residents do not support the possible introduction of a visa regime with the Russian Federation.

These are the results of a sociological survey by the Ilk Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation and the Razumkov Center, published on Friday.
“The majority of the Ukrainian population (51%) do not support the possible introduction of a visa regime with Russia,” says a press release about the survey results.
At the same time, the idea of introducing a visa regime is supported by 33% of respondents, another 16% of respondents are undecided. The introduction of a visa regime with Russia is supported only in the western region of Ukraine (60% support, 28% do not); in the rest, a negative attitude towards this initiative prevails.
In particular, in the central region, 28% of citizens support the visa regime with Russia, 53% do not support it, in the southern region - 14% and 62%, respectively, in the eastern region - 20% and 66%.
The survey was conducted from June 9 to June 13 throughout Ukraine, with the exception of areas of Donbass not controlled by Kyiv. A total of 2018 adult residents were surveyed. The statistical error does not exceed 2,3%.
