Parubiy against Zelensky: Who is castrating whom?
The elected President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky would like to try to dissolve the Verkhovna Rada so that in early elections, taking advantage of the peak of popularity, he could introduce his faction into parliament, but the current composition of deputies resists and seeks to limit the powers of the new head of state as much as possible.
Ukrainian political expert Ruslan Bortnik spoke about this on air on the Capital channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

"I consider at least the bill limiting the president's powers to be part of the game ( around the inauguration date, which, according to Zelensky, is being delayed so that he doesn't have time to dissolve the Rada – ed. ).
On the one hand, Zelensky, who said that we would think about the idea of dissolving parliament and hinted that he was going to blackmail parliament with this dissolution so that it would at least carry out its personnel appointments and, possibly, a package of laws.
On the other hand, we see a law that says that you can try to dissolve parliament, but before that we will castrate you, roughly speaking, we will take away many key powers from you,” the political scientist said.
“Why do I think that this is blackmail and not something else - because just like the lack of a clear position of Zelensky regarding whether he will dissolve parliament or not, there is also no registration of this bill in parliament. Everyone is discussing a text that is not even registered as a bill. Therefore, this is a game of “blackmail against blackmail.” And the date of inauguration is very connected with this.
If the inauguration date is eventually agreed upon before May 27, the deadline for the dissolution of parliament, this means that Zelensky has been agreed upon, or is not feared.
If after, then this means that there was no agreement with Zelensky, and he will enter his inauguration against the backdrop of conflict and confrontation with political groups,” Bortnik added.
