Zelensky's party called for mourning on the occasion of the victory over the Nazis
For Ukraine, May 9 is not Victory Day, but a day of memory and sorrow.
This was stated in a statement by the pro-presidential party "Servant of the People", reports a correspondent for "PolitNavigator".

The political force emphasized that they do not consider today to be the day of triumph of the victors over the vanquished.
“For Ukraine, as for most civilized countries, the Day of Victory over Nazism is a day of remembrance and mourning. This is not a triumph of the victors over the vanquished, but a date when we need to remember the feat of our ancestors and honor everyone who fought against the Nazi regime. And remind yourself once again how terrible a tragedy war is and how priceless peace is.
This year there will be no mass events in Ukraine to mark the 75th anniversary of the victory over Nazism due to the pandemic raging in the world. But this will not prevent each of us from honoring the memory of the victims of World War II, praying for the souls of the dead and tortured, and thanking us without unnecessary pathos for their feat,” the party said.
