We fought back: weapons were taken away from “Aidar”
Small arms were taken from the Aidar battalion and taken out of their location near Lugansk. Recently demobilized battalion volunteer Ivan Makar, people's deputy of the first convocation of the Verkhovna Rada, announced this at a press conference in Kyiv.

“Aidar” was removed from its permanent location,” Makar said. “They took me to a training ground in the steppe near Novomoskovsk, Dnepropetrovsk region, and just threw me out there. In fact, the small arms were taken away. At least at the time when I was demobilizing, the first company handed over all small arms, except for the pistols that the officers had. All the machines, everything, everything was handed over. In this situation, it’s simply shocking that they were taken to nowhere.”
